The African Caribbean Dance Theatre (ACDT) is the host and presenter of the annual Florida African Dance Festival (FADF). FADF is a 3-day conference held each June. It features internationally renowned artists in dance and drum workshops, and an exciting performance concert. Other highlights of FADF include, children’s dance workshops, hair fashion extravaganza, vendor marketplace and health screenings.
FADF has been recognized in local, regional and national publications such as Ebony Magazine and Southern Living Magazine. The festival was presented in the National Endowment for the Arts’ annual report November 2007; only two arts’ organizations per state receive this opportunity. FADF was also a feature story on the NEA’s Art Works Blog, July 15, 2014 and rated as one of the Top 100 Events in Florida by Bizbash, a Miami-based magazine, in its June/July 2007 issue.
Through the festival’s attraction of local, regional and national participants, we have the perfect sponsorship opportunity for your corporation, business or organization! We can design a benefit package commensurate with your marketing and strategies goals.
